Women's Rights

As someone who champions the safeguarding of women and girls — particularly in areas such as domestic abuse services and refuge provision — I believe it is essential to preserve female-only spaces based on biological sex. It would be inconsistent to call for stronger protections for women while also supporting policies that permit biological males to access those protected spaces. My stance is rooted in safety, fairness, and the right of women to have their boundaries respected.

Biological sex is fundamental: every person is born either male or female, and that reality does not change — regardless of appearance, identity, or how someone wishes to be treated.

Alongside women like JK Rowling and Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies, I support the defence of women’s rights, female-only spaces, and fairness in sport.
