Nice to meet you

Samantha Whyte lives in Bilton with her husband and young son, who attends the local community primary school. As a self-employed business owner, she runs a successful gundog training business, working both locally and online.

Samantha was educated at Beverley High School for Girls & Sixth Form before studying European Social Policy & Politics at Humberside University. She then built a career in London working for MoneySavingExpert, which helps people navigate financial challenges and make informed money-saving decisions.

With strong local roots in Hull and the East Riding and professional experience in community engagement, financial education, and business, Samantha is committed to making a positive difference for Mid Holderness residents.

To make a difference to people's lives across Mid Holderness, as well as the whole of the East Riding.

I am passionate about improving the lives of people in my community, ensuring that residents have access to better services, safer streets, and a stronger voice in local decision-making.

I believe that Mid Holderness deserves strong, proactive representation, ensuring that rural communities are heard and that residents get the support they need to thrive.

There are people I may never meet, and they may never meet me, but the changes I strive for have a truly positive impact on their lives.

Outside of work

Samantha has a deep love for the countryside and rural life, balancing her work with a passion for dogs, conservation, and outdoor activities. She sits on two Kennel Club committees and enjoys power walking and gardening in her free time.

She is committed to working tirelessly for the people of Mid Holderness, ensuring that every resident, from families to farmers, has a voice in shaping the future of their community.
