🌻 August - monthly update

Although August is traditionally council recess, I continued working on your behalf throughout the month checking emails and attending meetings.

🧒 Supporting Young People in Care
On the 7th, I joined the Corporate Parenting Health & Wellbeing Sub-Group, focusing on how we improve physical and emotional support for looked-after children and care leavers.

📋 Casework
On the 13th, I visited a local resident to discuss a planning application, offering support and advice on how to navigate the process.

🏡 Planning Committee
Attended the Planning Committee meeting on 14th August to represent community views and scrutinise proposals affecting our area.
